Why You Should Hire a Freelancer
A Freelancer is the perfect solution when you want the personal attention to your needs but not 5 days a week.
When you hire a large company you may meet with
someone who will ask you a lot of questions about
your business. They in turn leave that meeting
return to their office and meet with the designer
and attempt to repeat what you told them. Before
you know it your gadgets are now widgets and the
usual transformation of second hand knowledge
begins. When you work with a freelancer there
is no miscommunication because you are always
speaking to the person who will actually be doing
the job.
This brings us to the issue of cost. You
may have visited the glamorous office of a firm
and was greeted by an attractive well dressed
person behind a desk with a sign calling it reception.
A freelancer doesn't have one of those. So there
is no need for you to be contributing to the extra
wages. Also a freelancer doesn't use anyone to
meet with you so there is no need to pay them
either. There is no prestigious office space and
no executive parking spaces so you won't find
these expenses hidden in your final invoice. You may even be told that you will have an entire team working for you. How many corporations have you seen put an entire team to address your business? The
big shops don't bill you for BIG talent or results, they
bill you for BIG cost.
So the question now is, why support all these
wages and extra cost while risking your message
being lost when you can go direct to the source.
After all it's the designer who is the backbone
of any firm or publisher and will be doing all
your work so you might as well meet and work with
them direct. You can take control and get what you need while saving money and getting results.
